Two really cool things.
First, I got to meet Brian, my Dad's long time friend from graduate school. These are the things that make the trip really special. What a cool guy - who knew my Dad had "normal friends". They haven't seen one another for 20+ years, so I wanted a picture to show my Dad. It was a good time - I learned a lot about my dad, my family, and myself!

Waylon has a much better ring to it than Willie. But Kristin and I always said that we would get two dogs, named Waylon and Willie. Mr. Willie Nelson understands the next dog will be named after him. We talked about the other night.
