The sights and smells of Yellowstone were amazing - it was well worth putting up with the cold, snowy environment. The park is constantly changing, which means that everybody is bound to get a different experience when they go. I was lucky. I got to see Beehive Geyser go off (apparently happens only once a day). My favorite part of the park was the Mud Volcano area and the mineral pools. I even began to like the rancid smell of sulphur.
Here are some videos:
Black Bear
Beehive Geyser
Mud Volcano (The Best - you can even hear it)
Geyser Basin with my horrendous commentary (Sorry for the bad language again - at :24 a geyser surprisingly and randomly explodes, which is cool)
I'll spend the night somewhere in Northern Montana and venture into Glacier National Park tomm... PS. BUFFALO MEATLOAF IS THE BOMB!!!

what happens if you fall into mud volcano? do you get sucked in?

ReplyDeleteUm, ok that is weird. I was saying that you'd probably get arrested. The park rangers are like Chuck Norris...meaning, they don't mess around.
ReplyDeleteReverting back here but it would be tough to live without good coffee - a major weakness but a good choice. I make my own and it puts a major smile on my face :) every morning! Here's to your fill!!!
